Live interview with Dolapo Akinyelure

Jolade Fashakin: Can you tell us how you started out as a model?

Dolapo: It started out last summer as a joke but i loved it . Big ups to dekkarts and Fas they brought me out yo.

Jolade Fashakin: Was it your dream to become a model or are you just a model for the fame?

Dolapo: It was a dream . Since i was a kid i aspired to be a model.

Jolade Fashakin: Are your parents in support of it?

Dolapo: At first they weren't in support of it yunno they were like I'm not gaining anything but with time they seemed to understand that i loved modelling so they started showing me support recently.

Jolade Fashakin: What made you choose the brand name Indulgence?

Dolapo: Basically, i wanted something different and catchy and indulgence was what came to mind.

Jolade Fashakin: There are a lot of brands these days, are you just one of "those clothing lines" or do you plan on bringing something different?

Dolapo: Right from the start my brand was different. One of the first was to create a group chat for people to know more about it . It was successful and people started doing the same. I have a couple of tricks up my sleeves, by the grace of God they worked plus i do quality stuff, most brands don't do that . So we stand out definitely.

Jolade Fashakin: We heard the indulgence lines have gotten places is this true?

Dolapo: I wouldn't want to blow my own trumpet . By God's grace we will go places .

Jolade Fashakin: Should we be expecting something big then seeing Lil Kesh had it on in his video?

Dolapo: Definitely.  My team and I are working on something by December, you should expect something by God's grace .

Jolade Fashakin: Is there a fixed date for the release of the indulgence caps?

Dolapo: No, there isn't a fixed date for the release and i like to keep my people in suspense. It increases demand.

Jolade Fashakin: Is there anything we should know ? 

Dolapo: I'm dropping new look indulgence caps and illustration for shirts. Hopefully we deliver by God's grace.
