Rihanna Puts On A Happy Face After Drake Split & Spends Time With Dad In Barbados

Everything looks great in paradise! Rihanna may be on the mend from her messy split from Drake, but she seems to be enjoying the Caribbean sun! The singer took a trip to her native, Barbados, Oct. 12, to spend some time with her dad, Ronald Fenty! See the adorable snaps here!

As Rihanna, 28, deals with her crazy split from Drake, 29, she escaped to her native, Barbados to pay her father, Ronald Fenty, a loving visit. The singer showed off her flawless complexion in two makeup free selfies with her “pops.” RiRi, with her stunning dreads tied up, put on a happy face as she took posed for the camera with her father. Could this be a trip to leave behind her relationship troubles? Well, aside from her former rapper beau having a reported wandering eye, she appears to be in great spirits. In fact, Ri just missed her dad. She captioned the photo above, “checkin in wit pops! missed you man!” with the hashtag, “Home.” Aw!

 It even looks like the “Work” singer spent some QT with one her her BFFs, catching some of that crisp Barbadian sun! RiRi’s friend uploaded a sultry snap in their bikinis, sipping on some cocktails. The newly single star sported stylish shades and it looked like a break up was the last thing on her mind!

Everyone went nuts when Drake professed his undeniable love for Rihanna at the 2016 MTV VMAs, August 26. When he presented her with the Vanguard Award, he told the entire crowd, as well as the thousands of viewers watching that he’s been in love with her since the age of 22! The two seemed inseparable after that — Sharing the stage romantically, partying it up and seemingly getting matching shark tattoos. SO cute!
But, that all came crashing down when Drake reportedly started hooking up with India Love. Following those reports, rumors of a split spread like wildfire. It didn’t help when both, RiRi and Drake took to their Instagram accounts to post cryptic breakup messages, leading us all to believe they were a bit salty about the entire ordeal.
Now that Rihanna is a single gal, this could be the perfect time for her ex, Chris Brown, 29, to sweep her off her feet. We hear Chris “definitely sees her breakup from Drake as his opportunity,” and thinks they “belong together.” WOW! Could you imagine if the former tumultuous lovebirds rekindled their infamous romance? We’ll have to see how this all plays out, but in the meantime, Rihanna looks like she’s enjoying spending time with her family!
