Kim Kardashian Finally Emerges After 1 Week In Hiding Following Robbery — First Pics

There she is! After a week in hiding, Kim Kardashian finally emerged from her California home to grab a bite to eat with a friend on Oct. 13. See the photos of her uncharacteristically covered up right here.

Kim Kardashian, 35, has been keeping out of the spotlight since she was robbed at gunpoint on Oct. 3, but she finally stepped out in Los Angeles Oct. 14. The reality star was photographed walking into an unnamed Italian restaurant, trying to remain incognito in a giant black sweatshirt with the hood pulled up.

“She was with security,” an onlooker tells E! News. “She made a brief, 30-minute trip to a restaurant in Beverly Hills. She was with a female friend and looked very downcast and somber, not wanting to be seen.”
Of course, we don’t blame her: Kim is still recovering from the attack in Paris, which has obviously completely traumatized her. Although she was photographed arriving in New York on Oct. 4 and leaving the City a few days later, this is the first time we’ve seen her out and about since her return to Cali.


However, the photos show that Kim was clearly trying to go unrecognized for the outing — we can imagine that she isn’t ready to deal with intense media attention after the scary ordeal she went through. Not only did the 35-year-old have a gun held to her head, but she was tied up, gagged and locked in the bathroom as masked men robbed her of millions of dollars worth of jewelry.
Kim has cancelled all of her upcoming appearances and is obviously working on amping up her security more than ever. She has also been receiving professional help to talk through everything that happened.
